King's Square
King's Square is Gloucester’s fabulous new space with sweeping granite seating, water fountains, lighting, and sculptural stone wave forms that flow around the four edges of the square, designed by George King Architects and inspired by Severn Bore's beauty.
The Severn Bore is a large surge wave that can be seen in the estuary of the River Severn and one of Britain's few truly spectacular natural phenomena!
After its fantastic launch in April 2022, the square will continue being used for regular city events throughout 2023.
