WHSmith launches book trade-in!

WHSmith has launched a buy-back scheme at its high street stores to extend the life of second-hand books.

The retailer, which has stores across the county, has teamed up with buy-back service Zeercle to offer customers eGift cards when they trade in their pre-loved books, as reported by Retail Gazette.

To take part in the scheme, customers need to register online and scan their books through WHSmith's website. This will determine the value of the books, based on condition, popularity and demand in the market.

The books can then be donated at any participating store, in exchange for a gift card to be used on the WHSmith website or in store.

The WHSmith Bookcycle scheme will help make books more accessible and affordable for readers, as well as minimising the impact on the environment.
